Run a VTS Script Application on a VIC

A VTS script application can be run in one of two ways:

By requesting a list of available applications (i.e. "AppsList" request) and clicking the script application's link; or

By entering a URL following the syntax displayed below:

{Protocol}Server{:Port}/Realm/ViewApp/Application or GUID

where "Application or GUID" can be the name of the script application or the GUID of the script application (this is the GUID specified in the script application's GDI.WIF file).

For example:

http://workstation9/realm1/ViewApp/b363c102-20c6-4d65-901a-14a289b4915f

or

http://workstation9/realm1/ViewApp/MyScriptApplication

This applies only to script applications. You cannot start a standard VTS application from a VIC.

Note: The security accounts of users wishing to access the debugging and analysis utilities (which are VTS script applications) must be granted the Internet Client Tools Access privilege. Information on this privilege is provided in Internet Client Tools Access Privilege.
