Secured and Unsecured States

Newly created applications run in an unsecured state until the moment that you logon to the default user account. Once you've logged on to the default user account, the application is switched into a secured state; consequently, subsequent users (including yourself) must logon to the application in order to make any configuration changes.

It is therefore normal practice to not logon to the default user account until you have finished designing and configuring your application, and are ready to configure security and user accounts for the system operators.
