Setting Conditions under Which Operators Will Be Contacted By the Alarm Dialer System

The Dialer Options dialog is used to set the terms under which registered operators will be contacted by the VTScada Alarm Dialer system. The Dialer Options dialog enables you to set the amount of time the system should wait before notifying operators that an alarm has gone unacknowledged, the priority of alarms of which registered operators should be informed, and the greeting to use when an operator has been contacted.

Note: The voice that is used by the Alarm Dialer to annunciate alarms is the default voice configured under your Windows operating system. It is strongly recommended that you use Sam, Mary, or Mike for the Alarm Dialer system. Using any other voice may cause the Alarm Dialer to have annunciation problems.
