The Standard Library contains a set of tools that supplement those in the Configuration Toolbox. This is a miscellaneous group of tools that share little in common other than that they can be used to add useful features to a page.
The standard library tools include the following. Each is described briefly here with a reference provided in each to find more detailed information.
• The Page Hotbox. Draws a navigation link to another page. If the destination page is parameterized, the hotbox may specify the tags to be used for those parameters.
• The Bitmap tool. Use this to insert an image on an application page. This is the same as the Bitmap button on the main toolbox menu. See: Inserting Images on a Page.
• The Edit.INI Var Field Draws a text input box that can be linked to one of the variables in Config.INI. Used to provide a way for operators to adjust a configuration variable.
• The Edit.INI Checkbox Used to enable or disable a selected configuration variable whose value may be either 1 (checked) or 0 (unchecked).
• The Border tool. Draws a rectangular border on a page.
• The Page Close Button. Allows operators to close a windowed page without needing to provide a full Windows™ title bar with page close buttons. See: Closing Pages with a Button.
