Tag Configuration Rules and Recommendations

There are some rules and recommendations that should be observed when you are creating tags for your applications. These are:

•    Tag names must be unique.

•    Tag names can be no longer than 64 characters in length.

•    Tag names must consist of valid characters.

•    Tag names should follow a consistent and meaningful naming convention.

•    Tag names should be partnered with a clear and expressive description to help users identify the tag and its purpose.
