The Template directory located on the root of the VTS installation directory contains template files that may be used as a basis for new VTS applications that you intend to modify using the VTS scripting language, including the files necessary for the development of custom tags.
Note: This Template directory should not be confused with the VTS layer Template directory; the Template directory within the VTS layer directory is used as the basis for new standard applications. The files and directories in the VTS layer's Template directory are copied and added to your application directory each time you create a new application.
