Totalizer Drawing Method

Available in all applications.

Used by:  Pulse Input tags (Note: This drawing method is not used by the totalizer tag).

The Totalizer drawing method calculates and displays the combined total of the value of the pulse input tag being drawn within a user-defined period of time. Each time the user-defined period of hours has cycled, the Totalizer object will automatically reset to 0 and will begin to recalculate.

The Totalizer tag drawing method does not calculate the average value of the tag; rather, it increments the new value to the former value each time the value changes. For example, if the value of the pulse input tag changes from 27 to 30 to 32 to 21 within the user-defined period of time, the value displayed by the Totalizer object will be 110. It should also be noted that the Totalizer tag drawing method rounds values off before totaling them (for example, 23.62 will be rounded off to 24 and then added to the total value).
