Undo Tool

Provides a way for you to reverse any mistakes you've made by undoing your last action.

VTS keeps in memory an almost unlimited record of all the actions you've completed. It also handles undo actions page-independently; therefore, if you've made changes to more than one page, the undo action will only undo the actions that apply to the currently open page. The other pages will remain unaffected.

You can also apply a redo operation if you should change your mind about undoing an action. Instructions on the Redo tool appear in the section that follows.

Note: If you stop an application, its undo/redo history is lost. In addition, networked applications will lose their undo/redo history when you do an update all using the Remote Configuration dialog (see Update Changes to Resource Items). Be sure that your pages appear as you require prior to updating all resource items. Information on Remote Configuration can be found in Remote Configuration and the VTS Locking Scheme.
