VTS provides you with a snap grid and several alignment, spacing, and layering tools (see The Configuration Toolbox) to help you manipulate the objects you draw on your pages. In addition to these tools, there are supplementary shortcut keys that enable you to shift and place objects when you are building your operator interfaces. The table below identifies these shortcut keys, while the sections that follow provide further instructions on working with them effectively.
