Up to 240 application privileges may be added to your application's security system. These application privileges can then be attached to pages and output tags that you wish to restrict access to. Any users whom you wish to have access to the application privileges must be granted them.
Newly created application privileges are not granted to user accounts. (Even to the account you are using to create those privileges.) You must assign each new privilege to each account in the same way you would assign a system privilege.
Application privileges are created using the Administrative Settings dialog.
You should currently be logged on to the Manager1 account.
1. Click the Manager1 button to open the Options dialog.
2. Click the Options button. The Administrative Settings dialog opens.
3. Click the Add button that appears in the Application Specific Privileges area.
The Add Privilege dialog box opens (Figure 191).
4. Enter "Control" as the name of the new privilege and press Enter.

5. Click the OK button.
The OK button will not be enabled until you add the name and press the Enter key. The Add Privilege dialog box closes and the new privilege now appears in the Application Specific Privileges list of the Administrative Settings dialog box as shown.

6. Click the OK button. The Administrative Settings dialog closes.
Now that you have created our "Control" privilege, you can connect it to the "Booster Pump Control" page to prevent users who do not have the control privilege from accessing it.
