Commissioning
Numerous features make commissioning with VTS simple. VTS has a "questionable data" flag associated with each standard tag. This flag is normally set to true when the database is created. Any graphical representations of the tag on the screen will be displayed with a question mark, indicating that the tag's data is questionable. This provides a systematic checklist that can be used to validate each tag's data against the data reported by the system. The questionable data indicator can be removed once the behavior of the equipment and the tag's reported data are validated. When all tags have been fully tested, there will be no questionable indicators on the screen or in the tag database.
