Lesson 10 Overview
In Lesson 9, you completed the control panel required to operate the booster pump to regulate the level of water in the booster tank. The Booster Station application page is close to completion.
In this lesson, you will configure a number of VTS navigation aids so that you and the operators of your application can easily switch between the pages.
Whenever you add a new page to an application, VTS ask you whether the new page is to be added to the menu. If you choose to do so, VTS automatically adds the page to the built-in menu so that you can navigate to it.
When you configured the "Booster Pump Control" page, you did not add it to the menu. This was because control panels should be directly related to the equipment they control. VTS provides a navigation tool called a page hotbox that enables a user to click on a piece of equipment and have the related controls pop open. In this lesson, you will configure the "Booster Pump Control" page to pop-up when the booster pump label is clicked.
You will learn about the menu and its configuration tool, the Menu Editor as well as the built-in page change buttons used for opening frequently used pages.
