Objectives:
• Complete the Booster Station application page configuration;
• Add the Chlorination Unit application page;
• Configure a background bitmap for the new application page;
• Add a page hotbox to the Booster Station application page to open the new Chlorination Unit application page; and
• Add a page hotbox to the Chlorination Unit application page to open the Booster Station application page.
Lesson 11 Overview
Refer to the system plan for the application. All tags representing the equipment of the Booster Station application page have been configured. It is now time to begin establishing the tags pertinent to the chlorination unit.
The chlorination unit is a part of the booster station system however it is complex enough to warrant its own application page. The next task is therefore to establish a new application page for the process equipment related to the chlorination unit.
Because the chlorination unit is part of the overall booster station system, you will also add a static bitmap representing the chlorination unit to the Booster Station application page. Then, as you did for the Booster Pump Control page, you will add a page hotbox around the bitmap representing the chlorination unit that will open the new Chlorination Unit application page.
The chlorination unit is quite complex; therefore, we will use a background for the chlorination unit application page to speed the process of creating the operator display.
