Review the Physical System

When reviewing the physical system, two of the most important sources of information are:

•      Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

•      The client

P&IDs provide you with a basic blueprint for the layout of the system, while the client can explain the processes and answer any questions you may have.

 

For the VTS tutorial, you have been asked to create an application that will help monitor and run a water treatment system from a PC. The client has provided you with a process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID), operation instructions, and requirements for the system. You have been asked to design your application based on this information.
