VTS Bitmap Files

The images files used to draw application page graphics.

VTS Browser support

Optional

Installs the components necessary to turn your computer into a VTS Internet Server (VTS/IS) and to enable other computers to browse and monitor the pages of your applications using a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Directories Installed: VTSX, and RASmon.

VTS Tutorial application

Required (for completion of the VTS tutorial)

Installs the Tutorial Simulator application layer and the Completed Tutorial Application.

Directories Installed:  Example, and TutSim

Reference: This guide (Getting Started with VTS) includes the VTS tutorial and requires installation of the VTS Tutorial application components.

VTS Debug tools

Optional

Installs the VTS debugger and other utilities that help VTS programmers troubleshoot script applications.

Directories Installed: Debugger, Instance, Profile, RPCDiags, ThrdList, and TraceVTS.

VTS Database tools

Optional

Installs a database conversion utility and an ODBC browser. The database conversion utility enables you to convert Excel databases to Microsoft Access databases and vice versa, while the ODBC browser enables you to view the contents of any ODBC-compliant database.

Directories Installed: DBConvert, and ODBCBrowse.

VTS System Administration Tools

Optional

Installs the Reset Remote Clients utility and the WMFUtil utility.  The reset utility allows you to force a client workstation and the server to synchronize the application's files and tags. WMFUtil is used by VTS programmers to repair graphic device interface call sequences.
