If your VTS developer (or the person(s) responsible for the security of your application) has given you the ability to change the password for your user account, you can do so by following the steps provided below:
1. Logon to the application using your username and temporary password (if you require assistance logging on to your application, please refer to Logon to Your User Account for instructions).
2. Click on the Logon button (which now displays your username). The Options dialog opens, and displays at least the Log Off, Password, and Cancel buttons as shown below. (The Options dialog may contain additional buttons, depending upon your user privileges.)

3. Click the Password button. The Modify Password dialog opens.

4. Enter your new password in the New Password field.
5. Enter the same password in the Confirm Password field.
6. Click the OK button. If the password you have entered matches in both fields, the new password is saved to your user account.
If you mistype your password when you are entering it in the New Password and Confirm Password fields, you will receive an error dialog, as described in Password Entries Do Not Match.
Note: When you are selecting a password for your application, it is a good idea to use a combination of numbers and letters. Be sure that the password you use is easy for you to remember, but is difficult for others to guess. You should never disclose your password to others, and if you feel there is a chance that someone is aware of your password, you should change it immediately.
