Your VTS application is made up of a series of application pages that are viewed in the Display Manager. These pages enable you to monitor and control essential processes and information by providing you with accurate data on your computer screen.
The pages in your application run in real-time. This means that when a change occurs in the equipment, it is automatically and immediately reported by VTS on your screen.
Each application page displays and provides access to specific processes and equipment. Data is presented to you in different formats, such as lists, dialogs, animated graphics, colors, symbols, and numbers. Control and output of data from the application to the equipment is achieved using buttons, shortcut menus, and data entry fields.
Since your physical system is represented in VTS using objects called "tags", the key to understanding how your application works is to learn about the VTS tag.
