Log Off of Your User Account

If you are finishing a shift or must leave the computer for a period of time, you should log off of your user account so that the next operator can logon to his or her account. Your VTS developer may have configured your application to automatically log you off after a period of time if you have left your user account idle.

To log off of your user account:

1.  Click on the Logon button (which now displays your username). The Options menu opens, displaying at least a Log Off button and a Cancel button. (The Options dialog may contain additional buttons, depending upon your user privileges.)

2.  Click on the Log Off button. The Options menu closes, and the Logon button again displays the label Logon, allowing another user to access their user account.
