The Properties option of the shortcut menu opens the tag properties folder, allowing you to view and modify the properties of the selected tag (to read about tags and tag properties, see Tags).
You must be granted the appropriate privileges in order to view and/or modify tag properties. If you do not have either the view or modify privilege, the Properties option of the shortcut menu is disabled. If you have the view privilege only, you are able to view the properties for a tag, but the fields are disabled, and you cannot modify them. Finally, if you have both the view and modify privilege, you can both view and modify the properties of tags.
Tag properties are beyond the scope of this manual. To access help on tag properties:
• Right-click the object representing the equipment process, and select the Properties shortcut menu option. The tag properties folder opens. Select the tab of the tag properties folder for which you require help, and then press the F1 key on your keyboard. A help file opens and provides information on the tag type.
• Right-click the object representing the equipment process, select the Help shortcut menu option. Information on the tag type opens.
