Shortcut Menu

Shortcut menus allow you to interact with the objects in your application by changing their settings, accessing their properties, and performing specific tasks related to the selected object.

The shortcut menu opens when you right-click any graphic object related to the equipment in your system. Once opened, the shortcut menu displays the options available for the selected object. Some shortcut menu options are standard for all objects, while others are limited to objects of a specific type.

The image below displays two examples of the options you might see on the shortcut menu.

The shortcut menu changes in content depending upon the options available for the object you've selected.

Two of the standard options that you will typically see on the shortcut menu are the "Help" and "Properties" options. Other common options include the "Questionable Data", "Manual Data" and "Disable Alarm" options. These shortcut menu options and instructions on how to use them are defined in the sections that follow.

Note: You may or may not have access to all the features provided on the shortcut menu. The section that follows discusses disabled shortcut menu options.
