A component of VTS known as the Display Manager provides the interface that allows you to see and interact with your VTS application. By using the tools of the Display Manager, you can see and navigate between all the pages of your VTS application.
No matter which page is being displayed, the Display Manager and its tools remain the same. The Display Manager is made up of 3 sections that provide you with tools for switching among and working with your pages. These are (from top to bottom):
The title bar. Described in: Title Bar.
The page display area. This is the main working area for your application. It will vary by page.
The navigation bar. See: Navigation Bar.

Application and System Pages
In this guide, the term "application page" is used to refer to those pages that have been customized to contain a representation of the physical equipment and equipment processes that make up your system (equipment bitmaps, text and number fields, or a combination of these).
The term "system pages" refers to those pages that are built into VTS. These include:
A standard Alarm page (see The Alarm Page and Alarms).
The Historical Data Viewer page (see The Historical Data Viewer Page).
The Reports page (see The Reports Page).
The Operator Notes page (see The Operator Notes Page).
