Note: In order to acknowledge an alarm, you must be logged on to the application (see Logon to Your User Account), and your user account must have been granted the appropriate user privileges (see User Accounts and Privileges). If you are logged on but your user account does not have the appropriate privileges, the Actions buttons are disabled.
To acknowledge a single alarm:
1. Select the alarm you wish to acknowledge in the Alarm list. The selected alarm is highlighted in navy blue.
2. Click the Ack button. The alarm is acknowledged, and the alarm sound and visual indicators for the acknowledged alarm is silenced.
If the condition that caused the alarm to trigger has not been attended to, the alarm will remain in the alarm list, and its status will change from Alarm to Alarm/Ack.
