Exiting VTS

Note: VTS applications are designed to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Never stop VTS unless you have expressly been advised to do so by your VTS administrator or other authorized personnel.

There are two ways to exit the VTS program and close the VAM:

• Clicking the VAM's Exit button

• Clicking the Windows close button on the VAM's title bar

If a VTS application is running when you attempt to exit the VAM, the dialog shown below is displayed.

If you wish to exit VTS and stop the running application, click the Yes button. Exiting the VAM saves any running VTS applications. Otherwise, if you wish to continue to run VTS and the open application, click the No button.

Note: Because VTS saves automatically prior to shutting down, the size of your VTS application may affect the amount of time VTS takes to terminate. Large applications take longer to save their data, so the VTS program takes longer to exit.
