The illustration below indicates the sections comprising the Historical Data Viewer page.

As illustrated by the example shown above, the Historical Data Viewer page is made up of the following sections:
• Tool Bar. In order from left to right this provides access to:
Retrieve named pen groups. See: Load a Pen Group.
Select what is to be plotted. See: Select Tags and Notes to Plot.
Export the currently displayed data.
See: Exporting data from the Historical Data Viewer.
Display a different length of time. See:
Selecting a Time Scale.
Display a different day. See: Using the
HDV calendar.
Zoom in on a particular duration
of the time frame.
Zoom out from the time frame.
Zoom in on the data amplitude.
Zoom out on the data amplitude.
Move one or more plots
vertically.
Reset the vertical axis.
Add a note (select a Notebook pen
first). See: Working with Notebooks.
Plot the displayed data.
• Pen Legend. Displays information about the pens being plotted on the graph, including the plotted value at any selected point in time.
• View Tabs. Select whether to view the data in a graph or a table.
• Analog Plot Area. Displayed only when analog tags are selected.
• Digital Plot Area. Displayed only when digital tags are selected.
• Date/Time Scroll Bar. (see Scroll to View Earlier or Later Dates)
