Description

Active

The Active button displays a list of alarms that are currently in their active state, regardless of whether they are acknowledged or unacknowledged. Active alarms are those alarms for which the condition that triggered the alarm still exists. Active alarms also appear in the Current list, along with any Unacknowledged alarms.

Configured

The Configured button displays a list of all alarms that have been configured for this application, including their current status. Because this is not a chronological list, new events are not added as they occur; rather, the Configured list displays a "snapshot" of the current status of all listed items.

Current

The Current button displays a list of current alarms that are either unacknowledged, active, or both. Alarms must be acknowledged and no longer in the alarm state to be removed from the Current list.

Disabled

The Disabled button displays a list of all alarms that have been disabled until the source problem is remedied, or during routine maintenance of the physical equipment. Information on disabling alarms can be found in Disabling and Enabling Alarms from the Alarm Page.

History

The History button displays a chronologically sorted list of alarms that includes all alarm and event occurrences, acknowledgements, and modifications, along with a record of operator control actions and logon/log off information.

Unack

The Unack button displays a list of alarms that are currently in their unacknowledged state, regardless of whether the alarm condition still exists. Unacknowledged alarms are those alarms that have not yet been acknowledged, and for which the alarm condition that triggered the alarm may or may not still exist. Unacknowledged alarms also appear in the Current list, along with any Active alarms.
