Page Change Buttons

Another helpful navigation tool are page change buttons. If your application has been configured with page change buttons, they appear along the navigation bar and are labeled with the names of the pages to which they correspond. The label of the page change button whose corresponding page is currently being viewed has a bold label, as displayed by the "Alarm Page" page change button identified below.

To switch pages, simply click on the page change button that is labeled with the page's name.

In the event that you need to see two pages simultaneously, you can right-click any page change button to have the related page open as a small-sized separate page on top of the page you are currently viewing. You can reposition the small-sized page on the screen simply by dragging its title bar.

Note: It should be noted that although you can simultaneously open an application page as both a full-sized page as well as a small-sized page simultaneously, you may only have one copy of the Historical Data Viewer page, Alarm page, or Reports page open at one time. For example, if you have the Alarm page open in the Display Manager, you cannot open a second instance of that page by right-clicking its menu item or page button.

If your navigation bar doesn’t include any page change buttons, or doesn't include a page change button for the pages you regularly use, you can easily add some for quick access to frequently used pages. VTS has been designed to store the page change buttons you configure along with your user account information, so that each time you logon to your VTS application, your page change buttons are loaded.
