Selecting the "Printer" option in the "Output Type" drop-down list enables you to print your report to a printer other than the default printer configured under your Windows operating system.
To print a report on a printer other than the default printer configured under your Windows operating system:
1. Configure the report type, the tags whose data you wish included in the report, and the duration for the report. (If you need assistance in completing these tasks, please refer to Report Time Periods, and Generate a Report.)
2. Select "Printer" from the "Output Type" drop-down list.
3. Click the "Browse" button below the "Output Type" drop-down list. The "Print" Windows dialog opens.
4. Select the printer upon which you wish to print your report in the "Select Printer" portion of the "Print" dialog.
5. Click the "Print" button. You are returned to the Reports page where the path to the printer you have selected appears in the "Printer" field.
6. Click the "Run Report" button.
Note: If you are accessing the VTS reports page over the world wide web, you will be given access to the printers associated with your VIC, rather than the printers associated with the server running the application.
The section that follows discusses the text file report output type.
