Shift One Analog's Scale Range on the Graph

When you are plotting data for multiple analog tags, there may be situations when you wish to shift the position of one or the analogs whose data is being plotted so that its position does not interfere with your view of the other analog plots on the graph. The instructions below will assist you in shifting a single analog pen on the graph.

Note: Like the Zoom In Y-axis (Analogs Only) and Zoom Out Y-axis (Analogs Only) buttons, the Shift Y-axis (Analogs Only) button only works with analog values.

1.  Ensure that at least one pen plotting data for an analog tag has been added to the pen legend.

2.  Select the pen plotting data for the analog tag in the pen legend. A rectangle will appear around the pen to indicate that it is selected.

3.  Click the Shift Y-axis (Analogs Only) button.

4.  Position your mouse pointer over the graph.

5.  Click and drag up or down until the selected pen's plot no longer obscures your view of the other analog plots being displayed.

Note: To reset the scale range for a selected analog pen, select the pen in the legend, and then click the Reset Y-axis (Analogs Only) button in the tool bar.

The section that follows provides instructions on shifting the scale range for a group of pens plotting analog values.
