Silence the Current Alarm Sound

Note: In order to silence alarm sounds, you must be logged on to the application (see Logon to Your User Account), and your user account must have been granted the appropriate user privileges (see User Accounts and Privileges). If you are logged on but your user account does not have the appropriate privileges, the Actions buttons are disabled.

To silence the currently sounding alarm siren, simply click the Silence button. Any new alarms that are triggered after the Silence button has been pressed cause the alarm sounds to begin playing again.

Note: Depending upon the configuration of your application, the Silence button may terminate the current alarm sounds on all PCs running the application.
