Welcome to VTS™ for Windows Vista and Windows XP. We have provided you with this VTS Operator's Guide to help you become familiar with the operation of your VTS application. This guide is intended for VTS operators who have the following responsibilities and skills:
As a VTS operator, you are responsible for monitoring your Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system using a VTS application, and may be responsible for controlling physical equipment using the VTS interface.
In order to successfully use this guide, you should already be familiar with basic Windows concepts such as the Start button, taskbar, menus, and mouse navigation.
Throughout this guide, the term VTS Developer is used to refer to the person(s) responsible for configuring the VTS application for your organization’s needs.
This guide may be used as "front-to-back" reading material to help you learn about your VTS application. It has also been designed to provide quick reference information about specific tasks or VTS pages.
