To view all currently active alarms for your application, click the Active List Options button.
Active alarms are reported as long as the condition that triggered them still exists, regardless as to whether or not you've acknowledged them. For example, if the level of a tank in your system is high, the high level alarm will remain active until you've drained the tank, even if you've acknowledged the high level alarm. Remember, acknowledging an alarm is merely a means of signaling to yourself and to others that you are aware that the equipment process needs attention.
Active alarms appear in the Active alarm list, as well as in the Current alarm list. If you would like to see both active and unacknowledged alarms for your application, switch to the Current alarm list (see View Current Alarms).
