To view all current alarms for your application, click the Current List Options button.
The Current alarm list helps you to manage alarms in your system by providing you and other operators with a record of what equipment has been attended to and what equipment continues to require attention. The Current list combines all unacknowledged alarms that are no longer active, all active alarms that have been acknowledged, and all alarms that are both unacknowledged and active.
For example, if the level of a tank in your system is high, the high level alarm will remain in the Current list until you've both drained the tank and acknowledged the alarm. If you drain the tank, but do not acknowledge the alarm, the alarm remains in the Current list because it is still in an unacknowledged state. If you do not drain the tank, but acknowledge the alarm, the alarm remains in the Current list because it is still in an active state.
If you wish to see only Active alarms, switch to the Active list (see View Active Alarms). If you wish to see only Unacknowledged alarms, switch to the Unack list (see View Unacknowledged Alarms).
