View Tag Data in a Table on the Historical Data Viewer Page

The Historical Data Viewer page also provides a tabluar viewing option. To view tag data in a table, rather than plotting the data on the graph, click the GridView tab that appears on the Historical Data Viewer page beneath the pen legend. An example of the tabular data view is displayed below.

As you can see from the example above, the data for each selected tag is displayed in its own column. These columns can be adjusted by clicking and dragging their borders to change their width. 

Digital tags will periodically display a message such as “99.8% Active”.  This is telling you the percentage of the displayed data points for which the tag was in a non-zero state.

Note: The Grid View shows the interpolated data that makes up the matching graph.  The example shown here displays data at 2-second intervals. If the actual logging for these tags was recorded at 10-second intervals, the intermediate points are showing interpolated data rather than recorded data.  This is an extremely important distinction.

To return to the graph view, simply click on the PlotView tab.
