To add an existing script application to the VAM and launch it, follow the steps below.
1. Ensure that the application's directory is stored directly within your VTS installation or product directory (e.g. "C:\VTS\MyScriptApplication").
2. Click the Add New button on the VAM. The Add New Application dialog opens.

3. Select the Find Existing radio button.

4. Click the OK button. The Found Applications dialog opens.

5. Enter the first two or three characters comprising the name of the application you wish to add to the VAM, followed by the asterisk wildcard character (e.g. "Pro*") in the Path field. (Alternatively, if you know the name of the application directory for the application you intend to add to the VAM, you may click the "Show Path" checkbox, and then enter the first two or three characters comprising the name of the application's directory in the Path field.) If you wish to see all applications that have not yet been added to the VAM, enter the asterisk wildcard character alone.

6. Press the Enter key on your keyboard. VTS searches the VTS installation directory and displays a list of all applications whose name (or path) matches the characters you've entered.

7. Ensure that the application you wish to add is selected in the Application list (as shown above).
8. Click the OK button. A reference to the application is added to the VAM's Available Applications list.
You can now run the application you've just added by clicking the VAM's Run button.
Note: When you initially run a script applicationthat you've just added to the VAM, VTS compiles it automatically, prior to running it.
