This variable allows you to provide an initialization string to the speech engine to control the voice. It can be any XML string accepted by the voice engine. Please refer to the documentation for your configured voice engine for the details of this initialization string. The default value sets voice pitch, volume and speed for the Microsoft SAPI engine.
