ASin

Description:              This function returns the trigonometric arc sine in radians.

Returns:                    Numeric

Usage:                       Script or Steady State

Format:                      ASin(X)

Parameters:             X    { numeric }  { required }  { no default: }

                                                Any numeric expression in the range –1 to +1.

Comments:               The returned angle is in radians. To convert an angle from radians to degrees, divide by π / 180 or (approximately) 0.0174533.

Example:

radAngle = ASin(1);

degAngle = radAngle / π / 180;

The value of degAngle will be 90.
