The second of the files transferred from server to client when a Get From Server operation is performed is the SecMgr.dat encrypted binary file. SecMgr.dat houses all user accounts and related information (such as passwords and the privileges granted to each account) for the Security Manager.
SecMgr.dat is an encrypted, protected file and cannot be edited manually; therefore, the only means of adding, copying, modifying, and deleting user accounts and their related passwords and privileges is using the security dialogs provided by VTS.
