The third of the files transferred to a client from a server when a Get From Server operation has been performed is the SecurityManager.ini configuration file. SecurityManager.ini (formerly named SecMgr.ini) is used to configure and store administrative type settings and application privileges for your VTS application. The SecurityManager.ini file can be used to configure:
• The automatic logoff time period (i.e. the amount of idle time after which the logged on user will automatically be logged off by the system);
• The minimum length for user passwords;
• The display method for passwords;
• Suppressed privileges; and
• Application privileges.
SecurityManager.ini and its configuration variables are discussed in detail in Introduction to SecurityManager.ini.
