The Modem Manager maintains the Value parameter of the Modem tag to indicate overall status. The value may be one of:
0 Idle
1 Incoming call
2 Outgoing call
3 Error
An alarm may be configured on the Modem tag's value. Configuration of alarm tags is discussed in "VTS Developer's Guide: Modem Tag Type Properties".
