The Normalize value combines three mathematics expressions - a value expression, a low scale value expression, and a high scale value expression. The Normalize is used in other functions for various reasons. For example, layered graphics functions have 5 scaling factors (4 directional and one overall). Each of these parameters takes a Normalize value, which indicates the normalized scaling factor applied to the value expression, from 0% at the low scale value to 100% at the high.
