Account passwords are assigned during the creation of each account. They are stored in encrypted form in the Account List. Passwords have an enforced minimum length, and can never be viewed on-screen, even by a user with the privileges that are required to modify that password. However, password field contents may provide feedback based on a configurable password display option.
