SCT.mdb is the replica tag database. The replica tag database (SCT.mdb) contains copies of the data stored in the tag properties database. This copy of tag property data is used by VTS to detect and handle offline changes to the tag properties database.
Note: It is not recommended that you modify the replica tag database directly as it is strictly for use by VTS; you should never edit SCT.mdb
Replica Tag Database Regeneration
In the event that a networked application is experiencing client synchronization problems, you can command VTS to regenerate a client's replica tag database using the server's copy
Note: Users familiar with versions prior to VTS 5.0 may have used a reset method of stopping the application and deleting the replica tag database to resolve database corruption. This technique is strongly inadvisable. Please refer to "VTS Developer's Guide: Forcing Synchronization" for the appropriate method of resolving database and file corruption.
