Security Event Logging

Each time a user logs on or logs off, or a manager-level or administrator-level user performs a security-related action (such as adding a new user account, modifying an existing user account, deleting a user account, or copying an existing user account or changing administrative settings using the Administrative Settings dialog), the event is displayed in the History list.

Note: To view the History list, navigate to the Alarm page and click the History button.

For each security entry in the History list, the following information is displayed:

•      The name of the PC on which the security event occurred,

•      The username of the user who was logged on when the security event occurred,

The format for security event is:

<WorkstationName> Settings changed by <Username>

[WORKSTATION9] Settings changed by Manager1

<WorkstationName> <Username> has logged on or off

[WORKSTATION9] [JSmith] has logged on

Security Manager entries in the alarm history show up as events (i.e. with an alarm priority of 0) – see Alarm Priority 0 (No Alarm) Logging.
